For the first time in the main Zelda series, Nintendo will offer a season pass with exclusive and post-launch content for ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’, something that will expand our adventure in the new Kingdom of Hyrule, although we weren’t really expecting to see it two weeks before its release.
Announced by Eiji Aonuma himself, the so-called ‘Expansion Pass Bonus’ will be available from launch day on both Switch and Wii U and will award two packs that will arrive in summer and winter this year, as well as three boxes of exclusive content that we will find in the plateau at the dawn of the game.
The price of this Expansion Pack is 19.99 euros and beyond expanding the playable experience will offer a new level of difficulty, expand the story and add new challenges. However, Nintendo has not indicated the price of the two separate summer and winter content packs for the time being.
We’ve already seen cases of DLCs and packs in Nintendo games such as ‘Mario Kart 8’, ‘Fire Emblem Fates’ and even Zelda’s spin-off ‘Hyrule Warriors’.
Now, on the one hand, these additional contents are an interesting addition at a reasonable price if we compare it with the price of the rest of the season passes, and that will guarantee our return to Hyrule once the adventure is complete, although we have to admit that its announcement has turned out to be quite… unexpected.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild: Hyrule residents give more clues to the game’s timeline
For years there was a theory that connected all the ‘Zelda’ deliveries in the same universe, and time proved that the fans were not wrong. On the occasion of the launch of ‘The Legend of Zelda:Skyward Sword’ and the 25th anniversary of the Nintendo series, a volume called ‘Hyrule History’ was released, revealing the timeline that linked each release to date. So where exactly is ‘Breath of the Wild’?
Curiously enough, the key piece of this puzzle has been given by a little bird… or rather a Rite. In the last scans of the Japanese publication Famitsu more details have been given about the secondary ones that appeared in the last trailer of ‘Breath of the Wild’, confirming that the character of Reebal belongs to this race, which belongs to the temporal line of ‘The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker’ and until now had not appeared in other deliveries beyond the direct continuations of the same one.
During the trailer some of the familiar elements of the saga like the Zoras or the Gorons have been seen, but both the appearance of the Rites and that of the Koroks suggest that they continue the timeline in which after the events of ‘Ocarina of Time’ the Hyrule hero is victorious and is located in the universe created by the adult version of Link.
Of course, beyond this interesting fact Nintendo has taken the opportunity to present three of the characters that will help us in our adventure: a Goron, a Zora and a Rite.
Mifa is a young Zora who lives in Hyrule and who has a unique power in her species, although that has made her a rather introverted and reserved person.
Darkel is a Goron warrior who lives in harmony in the Hyrule Mountains. He usually has a tempered character, although the heat of battle brings out his true personality.
Reebal is a member of the Rite tribe, who live in the skies of Hyrule and who, like Mifa and Darkel wears a mysterious scarf.
As for the plot, Famitsu confirms that Hyrule was destroyed 100 years ago by a Cataclysm caused by an entity known as Ganon (as indicated in the trailer) and that Princess Zelda ventured to investigate the various ruins and sanctuaries of what was his family’s kingdom.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ will be available from 3 March on Switch and Wii U and will be the most anticipated game of the year, as well as being the best possible ambassador for the upcoming Nintendo console and the crowning glory of Wii U. We don’t know if Reebal has any relationship with Falco from ‘Star Fox’, but in a month’s time we’ll see if Link’s return will quench our thirst for adventure.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will have an alternative ending
The open world of ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ will be one of the biggest in the entire saga. It’s hard to know for sure how many secrets he’ll be hiding or how many activities players will be able to perform. What we do know thanks to its producer, Eiji Aonuma, is that one of its greatest mysteries will be related to its end.
The reason is that Aonuma has stated in an interview with the IGN portal in Portugal that ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ will have an alternative ending. However, perhaps it will not be easy to find out, as he has also stated that it will only be accessed if a series of requirements are met beforehand.
If we base it precisely on the fact that the game will be an open world, there is a possibility that it will be a way of rewarding the players for the effort of fulfilling those specific objectives, which will remain to be seen if they are all those of the adventure, only some in particular and above all the difficulty that will have to unblock all this.
In addition, Aonuma wanted to point out that Epona, Link’s faithful mare who has appeared on more than one occasion since ‘The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’, will also be present in ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’, although she has not indicated how we will find her. There are not a few questions that the long-awaited title of Wii U and Nintendo Switch is generating for us, but there is less left for March 3rd to arrive and find out all the answers.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: GameInformer reveals a wealth of details about his world and dungeons
In just 23 days we will be touring the immense open world of ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’. There’s nothing left for us to see with our own hands what this new and awaited delivery for Wii U and Nintendo Switch will do to us.
Although in the last few weeks many details have been coming up on the net, now that the game is in the gold phase, that is to say, its development has finished, so rightly so. Thanks to the latest issue of the American magazine GameInformer, we have been able to learn a great deal about many aspects of the game.
Of course everything that you read next can contain spoilers, so if you are one of those who want to arrive on March 3 without knowing practically anything about this new Link adventure perhaps it is recommended that you close this tab. The creation of the open world and its possibilities
Because it’s a world so different from any we’ve seen in another title in the series, Nintendo had to think carefully about how to create it. To do that, on other occasions, it would take different areas and join them together. Instead, in order to bring this gigantic map to life, he first decided what had to be placed in each area and then selected 300 developers and formed groups to work on specific sections.
In the demo they had the opportunity to play they started in a place called Serenne Stable, which belongs to a character called Yammo. Here Link will have the option of using a bed to rest, something we haven’t seen in any other game in the saga. Lying on Link’s bed will bring you back to life, but you can also pay for a more comfortable bed that will give you extra yellow hearts that will disappear if you are hit in combat.
The stables will also serve to give shelter to the horses that we are obtaining, pending to find out if this will have anything to do with how to get Epona, the well-known mare of Link, whose presence was confirmed days ago. Each stable will belong to a different character and will be spread all over the world. In addition, there will also be merchants in them, such as Terry, and other characters with whom you will be able to interact.
One thing we already knew is that in ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ we will witness a cycle of day and night. To make time go faster we can create a campfire. On the other hand, there will be times when the weather changes, causing results that will affect the world, such as the fact that there won’t be any characters outdoors if it starts raining.
As if that wasn’t enough, the rains could produce storms with which special care will have to be taken, since the rays that fall from the sky will be able to kill Link, something that will be easier to happen if he carries some piece of metal, either weapons or shields, although they can also be thrown at enemies.
Regarding the difficulty will vary depending on where the player is, with more complicated areas than others to which you can return later when you are stronger. During the trip more than 100 sanctuaries will be visited and there will be an object that will allow to identify them, which will cause that they become a point of rapid transport. Spiritual orbs will also be hidden in the sanctuaries and will be used to exchange them for unknown objects.
Horses will be of great importance, since, as we have previously indicated, several can be held at the same time. It will be important to take care of them and show them affection and loyalty, as these actions will lead to an increase in their statistics. However, we will have to be careful with enemies as we travel the world on their backs, because our adversaries will be able to kill them.
As for Link’s statistics, his energy meter will be reduced every time he runs, glides through the sky, or climbs mountains. However, this meter can be improved in some way that has not been revealed so far. Our protagonist will also be able to use his shield to surf with him or chop rocks that will be sold in exchange for rupees or to create other materials. so that nobody gets lost by the map there will be more than a hundred symbols available, including swords, shields, bows, stars, chests, etc., that will be placed to mark areas of interest, like any in which there is a special weapon. These, for example, will have different styles of animation, but there won’t be one that makes us invincible.
And Zelda could not be absent among all these details. Nintendo says he was the hardest-to-design character. The other great protagonist of the adventure will be able to get angry with Link and scold him and from what we’ve seen so far it seems that his appearance will be more relevant than in other deliveries.
Dungeons and their changes to keep in mind
The dungeons are a must in any ‘The Legend of Zelda’ and ‘Breath of the Wild’ is no exception. The one GameInformer played in was constant motion, being able to manipulate it with a great mechanism with which players will have to use their ingenuity to do so.
The dungeons at no time will have a linear follow up and there will be the option to complete them or jump them, depending on what each one wants, to go straight to the fight against Ganon.
Returning to the dungeon, it will be covered by a kind of evil substance that will damage Link if he touches it. Luckily it can be destroyed, although it will be necessary to find and attack the eyes that cover it. And in case someone misses the Seikah Whiteboard, it will serve as a map and also as binoculars, among other options.
One of the most characteristic is that the board will allow to visualize a 3D model of the dungeon map. Thanks to this opportunity it will be possible to move blocks and place them in other parts to open new roads that are not accessible in any other way. At the same time, there will be a voice that will indicate to Link that he must accede to some terminals that are distributed by all the dungeon and marked in the map.
What is missing is that apparently in the dungeons, or at least in this one, there are no chests with their characteristic saga music, just as there are no important objects or the mythical witch. At least the dungeons will be easier to overcome.
But what would a dungeon be without its corresponding final boss? In the case of this one that played GameInformer the main enemy that had to be defeated is one called Wind Blight Ganon, a part of Ganon itself that is a giant faceless beast and uses a gun-shaped weapon to attack, with which it is able to create tornadoes and shoot projectiles.
As you can see, it’s been an enormous amount of information that’s come to light, but there’s still plenty of detail to be known and discovered, something that will be possible from 3 March when ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ goes on sale worldwide for Nintendo Switch and Wii U.
There’s a crossroads in Red Dead Redemption 2 that makes horses burn.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a great game, no doubt, but no matter how hard the Rock star development team has worked for years to polish everything to the max, it’s understandable that in a title of these characteristics and dimensions some bug or other has crept in. In this case, there is a cursed crossroads capable of making the horses that pass through it burn.

The area in particular, as you can see in the videos, is a crossroads of three roads that are located between Rhodes and South field Flats. Red Dead Online creates confusion among its players when hundreds of dead horses appear in points of the map
This particular horror story begins with the numerous glitches and bugs that have made villages and horses disappear from the Red Dead Online map. A strange problem, but moderately understandable, that has given rise to another much more terrifying and inexplicable.
And it is that, as several users have reported, and we can see in the following video, these absent horses have begun to appear in certain points of the map dead and stacked as sacks of potatoes.
A fact that becomes even rarer when examining the bodies of the equines and verifying that they seem to have been burnt in some way before being deposited in the open air, thus creating a landscape that is at least disturbing.
Rock star claims that this has been nothing more than an error that has already been resolved, but considering that the horses are red and appear dead – let’s not forget the title of the game – several people have begun to elaborate complicated theories about what may be going on and why the study doesn’t want to tell us all about the satanic rituals they are clearly carrying out in the game code.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will include more than 200 species that we will be able to hunt and fish and as many horses to tame.
In the last few days Rock star has gone from providing information from ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ with dropper to offering a lot of information about its main characters and also about the borders, cities and towns that we will visit. This time he wanted to show how alive the world of the game will be by communicating new details of the animals that will inhabit it.
There will be so many wild animals racing around the game map that we will come across more than 200 species that the company promises will behave in a unique way. So there will be deer, bison, geese, rodents, bears, fish and many other animals that will be part of a complex ecosystem.
This will mean that they themselves will sometimes fight each other for their place in the food chain. In short, all of them will be able to hunt or fish for new food, materials and to be a way of obtaining more money. The way to obtain any of them will be to buy them in the stables, capture them in their wild state or resort to other not so licit methods. In any case, the horse will be our travelling companion and someone who will have to be taken care of at all times.
In this way, we must ensure that he is always well prepared and nourished to improve his endurance and the bond that binds him to us. In addition, you can modify your saddle, stirrups or spurs, for example, to get a unique horse and thus feel that it is ours and different from others.

We’ll start with the horses you can get for free in the wild. Each of these breeds can be found in different areas of the map, so first you have to choose what type of horse you want and then go there to find a specimen. Below we explain how to tame a horse once you have found it, do not worry.
All horse breeds in the wild and where to find them
There are nine main horse breeds and three other very rare breeds. Let’s go first with the main ones:
- Appaloosa. The horses of this breed fall under the category Work, so they have more endurance, average health and speed and less acceleration. You can find them in Big Valley, northwest of Strawberry (West Elizabeth); Cholla Spring, between Tumbleweed and Armadillo (New Austin); west of Valentine, near Lake Cattail Pond; and Wapiti Indian Reservation, north of Ambarino.
- Passing through Tennessee. They are Monta horses, which means they are the most frequent and tend to have low attributes. They can be found north and southeast of Armadillo (New Austin), northwest of Blackwater (West Elizabeth) or in the center of The Heartlands (New Hanover).
- Hungarian half-breed. They are war horses, so they have more endurance and health, but less speed and acceleration. You will find them west of Armadillo (New Austin).
- Morgan. They are Mountain horses that you can find south and northeast of Blackwater, in Cumberland Forest (northeast of Valentine), south of New Austin and west of Wallace Station (West Elizabeth).
- Mustango. These horses are War/Work horses, which makes their attributes very balanced. You can find them in different areas of New Austin, north of Armadillo and east of Emerald Ranch (New Hanover).
- Nokota. The Nokota race is made up of racehorses, so they have more speed and acceleration, but less health and endurance. You’ll find them in Cumberland Forest (northeast of Valentine), northeast of Blackwater (West Elizabeth) and south of New Austin.
- American thoroughbred. They are racehorses that tend to be both west and southeast of Armadillo (New Austin) and Emerald Ranch (New Hanover).
- Saddler of Kentucky. This breed also falls under the category of Monta and you can find it in areas such as north of Ambarino, south of Rhodes (Lemoyne), northwest of Valentine and New Austin.
- American trotter. They are racehorses and you will find them south and southwest of Armadillo (New Austin), north of Cumberland Forest (New Hanover) and east of Wallace Station (West Elizabeth).
On the other hand, as we mentioned before, there are three other types of wild horses that are very rare:
- White Arabic. It is undoubtedly the best horse you can get for free. You’ll be able to capture him from Chapter 2 of the game, and all you have to do is head for the mountains west of Ambarino to find him.
- brindle bay Mustango. It can be found southeast of Fort Mercer, east of Rio Bravo (New Austin).
The third of these rare horses, the white American Paint Horse with spots, is the most difficult to find, as it does not have a fixed location. It usually appears randomly in bonfires scattered all over the map. Be careful, you will find enemies camped in them.
How to tame a wild horse
Once you’ve found the horse you want, you’ll have to tame it. These are the steps to follow:
- Approach the horse with the view centred on it and throw the loop or walk as slowly as possible towards it and calm it down by pressing Square or X depending on the console where it is playing.
- When you are close to the horse, ride it by holding down Triangle or Y. A rodeo sequence will start.
- Stay on the horse by moving the left stick in the opposite direction to the one he is pulling.
- You must get him to calm down, so ride him for a while and caress him by pressing the left stick.
- If you do well, the horse will be tamed and will become a temporary horse until you equip it with a saddle, at which point it will become your main horse.

In addition to all the breeds in the wild, whose horses you can tame for free, there are a number of other species that you can buy directly from the stables.
